For context, I am a 38 year old woman who now works out regularly at the gym, but building out my home gym to stay consistent.
Installation: When I first took everything out of the box and looked at the instructions, I was immediately intimidated and thought all the other reviews of it being straightforward were lies lol. But once I got my bearings together, it turned out to not be that hard and I did it all by myself. I only got stumped maybe twice but still figured it out, and I am absolutely not “handy” whatsoever.
Review: When I first tried it out, I started on the highest level and immediately thought “uh oh, this is NOT going to give me a good workout” as it was so easy. However, once I used it for a real workout, I was sweating bullets in no time with my heart rate up to 165bpm. It’s super low resistance which gives zero joint pain. I was surprised at how much of my core was worked! I also like the boat-rowing kind of motion you’re able to do with your arms, it definitely adds to the experience.
The only downside is the seat is kinda hard, but I feel like that with ALL sit down equipment. Also, it’s of decent size (not huge, but not compact either). It doesn’t fold up or roll away and is a bit heavy for a woman or older person to lift on their own, so you need to plan accordingly with space. Overall, for the price, it’s definitely worth it and was a good investment for my home gym.
