The only problem I have is trying to figure out where to stick it in pouch w/o scratching my legs up.

This bad boy is 12" of exposed shaft. Actually 17 & 1/2 inches total.
The shaft going all the way through the handle as it should be. Pics provided accurate.
I'm sure I'll bend it or snap it eventually, but I'm also sure that's not the makers fault.
