By this time, I think that you all know that my 7-year-old Miniature Pinscher, Bruiser, is a huge part of my life. So, of course, I want to make sure that his life is as good as it should be and that starts with the food that I give him every day. It is really tough for me to find that perfect food for him because he’s stomach is extremely sensitive and on top of that, he is a very picky eater. So you can imagine the time that I have in the pet store sorting through labels and labels of all of the different pet food brands which is not only stressful but time-consuming as well.

Lucky for me, in between google searches, I was given an awesome opportunity to try out a brand of dog food that I have never heard of before. It is called AvoDerm and it could be the best thing that could happen for Bruiser and I. 
I’ve already mentioned that Bruiser has a very sensitive tummy. One thing that I absolutely love about AvoDerm is that it has a revolving menu. It switches up which food to give your four-legged friend in order to avoid food sensitivities. By varying their proteins, your pet will be less likely to develop allergies. On top of that, AvoDerm is specially formulated so when you switch up the flavor of food within AvoDerm’s revolving menu, there won’t be any gross mishaps because of an upset digestive tract.
Even without Bruiser’s already sensitive stomach, it is very easy for him to gain weight, which is why he has lovingly been given the nickname “My Little Sausage”. During a huge move from Virginia to Texas last year, Bruiser had A LOT of people food. He was a happy pooch, but he gained a ton of weight. I am glad to say that he did lose it all and we do not want to go back down that road again. I was glad to hear that AvoDerm is grain free and gluten free! But that is not all that is great about this grub. Here’s a short list:

AvoDerm is giving us six full weeks to try out their brand and I could not be more excited! (Bruiser is indifferent). AvoDerm promises that this food will have Bruiser’s coat look healthier and shiner within that time frame. I’ve realized that Bruiser is middle-aged and he may need a little tune up from the inside out! I am sure he will love it!
