Not familiar with the Essie brand, so not sure if typical or unique to this color but took FOUR coats to get decent coverage. I don’t have that much time to spend on waiting for paint to dry between. I really wanted to like this, because to color in bottle is pretty and seems to compliment all skin tones.

The polish itself is perfectly fine. It's beautiful pink, with Essie's new wide brush. Reason why it lost 2 stars is purely based on Amazon shipping. I don't know why they think it makes sense to put a glass 2.5" bottle in an 8 x 14.5 x 7.5" box...and then to protect it with one piece of brown paper, loosely placed in it. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I ordered 2 other things at the same time, they all could have fit together...in a much, much smaller box.
