Good, If You Don't Care About Color
I'm pretty disappointed in the color of this. I know screens and lighting can be different, but I'm very confident that either these photos are of older materials, or they're doctored, because the color really isn't close. The pictures in the listing show something decidedly YELLOW, with brown leaves, and in real life this is a yellowed BROWN. (What you see in my picture is about as bright as it gets, under direct light.) I bought the journal I bought on purpose because I wanted something bright, so that was a pretty big disappointment.With that said, if you don't care what color it is, this is a pretty nice little binder. It's VERY small, so be sure you pay attention to the measurements. It's a good size to carry in a purse or backpack, though, and it seems to be pretty good quality. The paper is a sort of "unbleached kraft paper" type, which gives it a rugged or vintage sort of appeal -- not the bleached, bright white paper we're accustomed to. The paper is pretty thick, too.
