I was initially concerned that this tumbler may not REALLY be DISHWASHER SAFE, based on some of the reviews that I read prior to purchasing; so I was expecting to encounter a problem; however, I WAS PLEASANTLY SUPRISED!...This tumbler held up great to many cycles in the dish washer (*ONLY on the top shelf, as I'm pretty sure the instructions stripulated); NO color wear, which completely retained the esthetic of my tumbler (*I appreciate the dark grey color as well as the sleek simplicity of appearance, form and function.) Also, the tumbler itself (*the materials) seems sturdy and does not feel "cheap" in any way (*another initial concern I previously had, which was subsequently debunked).
Well worth the money; I only use it with hot coffee, but it definitely retains it's heat unless I add ice (*of course); also, (*this may be helpful to some people and irrelevant to others) I've noticed that if the plastic lid is on correctly, is rightly tightened and if the black snap seal is snapped closed (*on the top), then I can shake my coffee aggressively and completely invert the tumbler without ANY spillage of the fluid contents . I recommend this item and I would definitely buy this item again; or more likely, an additional one, in the future, if I so desired/required.

I am a big fan of SM. I have had their 84 Oz summit thermos water jug for about 2 years now. Figured since it has been so great why not get a SM travel coffee mug to match? My experience has been just as good so far

My problem has been every other coffee thermos I've had has been too tall to fit under my Nespresso machine without removing the cup holding lip. I chose the 12Oz mug and it fits perfect !

First thing i did when i received it is confirm that it’s “LEAK PROOF”. I filled it up all the way with water, shook the heck out of it and not a single drop! The drinking flap didn't pop open either. It actually requires some force to open.

Other simple positives is that of course as a thermos is supposed to, it keeps my coffee hot all morning long, and my cold drinks cold practically all day with ice.

I will ALWAYS stand behind SM products! Cant forget to mention the simple minimalistic nice color gradient designs they offer !

I love these travel mugs so much. They’re cute, functional with keeping my coffee hot while going into work each morning, and relatively inexpensive. I am a huge fan of the fact that they’re dishwasher safe. I keep buying them so that I can have one each day of the work work week and can just throw the dirt mug in the dishwasher until I run it in a few days. However, the lids need some work. The tab to seal the mug breaks off easily. Especially when reopening them to wash them. Replacement lids are half the cost of the whole travel mug, so that’s the main drawback. They can still be used without the tab, but it kind of defeats the purpose of being a sealed travel mug.
