Sure, the light and mist function works separately, you can turn off the light by long pressing the LIGHT button about 2 seconds.

How long does this diffuser last on continuous use?

With full 500 ml water, strong mist can last 10 hours, weak mist can last 18 hours.

Can I use the diffuser without adding essential oils?

Yes, the oils are optional, you can use it without oils. It just like a humidifier without the oils.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes, the wide and large water tank is very easy to clean, just add some warm water and diluted vinegar, and lay it aside for 15 minutes, then use a wet cotton swab to clean the middle white disc of the tank. Then wipe with a soft cloth.

Is it quiet? I'm a light sleeper.

The noise level of this diffuser is only 23 dB, the ultra-quiet fan can effectively reduce noise. It won't disturb you at night.

Purchased one unit for the lower studio and really liked this one so much that I purchased another for the upper floor. Works great! nice ambience and aroma flow . Using Tahitian Vanilla oil . But you can use so many essential oils and oils non essential. Whatever you like - Just add preferably distilled water and few drops of your favorite oil. Using the remote is simple and you start it can be set for continuous flow or intermittent various nice soft colors to chose from - Also settings for full flow or light flow of essence. A timer you can set. Really a plus having the remote. Easy to set up - if you watch for sale price an even better deal. Once you have the unit you can go online and get a 2 year warranty. If indeed you use a diffuser I highly suggest this diffuser...You'll be happy with the style purchase and style and overall experience. May get a couple more as gifts! Would make a really nice gift with many essential oils available on Amazon. This diffuser is a little work horse! We bought it primarily for mosquito control in our living room and it has not disappointed. It is more efficient at bug control than any electronic bug catcher/killer we’ve owned in the past. The large capacity keeps it going for hours without needing a refill, it’s aesthetically pleasing, and the lighting effects are calming. It’s also pretty quiet. This was a great affordable buy and has given us plenty of use without showing any signs of wear so far. Highly recommend!

P.s. if anyone is wondering, for mosquito control we mix lavender and peppermint oils together (more heavy on the peppermint as the lavender is super strong and a few drops go a long way!) They hate these scents.

Nice, big diffuser. Working nicely in my living room.

The light changing is pretty & my young grandson found that to be "woah."

I have been able to get 2 days & 1 night from one fill up, using high, intermittent setting. The large capacity (500ml) is great for the larger space.

The diffuser is fairly quietn though if the house is quiet, the "gurgling" can be heard. Not a bad sound (though my husband thought one of the cats were heaving).

Seems to add just enough moisture during winter when having to use electric heat.

Diffuses my essential oils well, improving the smell in my home.

Cleaning instructions are using vinegar, which makes me very happy.

This diffuser comes with a little remote. There's several settings for lights, high & low for water output, and steady or intermittent output. This means quite a variety of combinations to tailor for one's desire.

If this 500ml diffuser stays available, I may purchase more for other areas of our large home. One, maybe 2 units, could easily cover a 2 bed house/apt/condo/mobile, drpending on layout & ceiling height.

I'll update if there are any changes (yes, I do update my reviews).

I've had a few aromatherapy units and this one by far is the best one. Super Easy to use. Super easy to Setup and clean. Scents travel a good distance from the unit and cover the entire room instead of one foot from the unit... Colors can change at random which is very pleasant or select your favorite and leave it alone. The timer is also excellent and I really appreciate the auto shutoff. Highly Recommended.

This product is a high quality unit, which promotes wonderfully strong flow of the diffusing process —- has many various colored lights for preferable room themes —- it’s a high capacity unit and one can use it strategically on intermittent and this thing will run all day! As this is my second unit — the first one is in another room and it’s just perfect — be sure to use quality essential oil, don’t overfill, and one must clean it periodically- cant let too much gunk build up and let it get too dirty

Worked great for two months and then it just died. Tried different outlets etc,nothing worked. No mist or light. Throwing in the garbage

This is an update. The seller reached out immediately and offered to replace. I had the new unit within days and it works great. We like that it is easy to care for and runs a long time then automatically shuts off. Their customer service personnel were great!

Da wir einen Asakuki-Luftbefeuchter/Aromaverdampfer besitzen, mit dem wir sehr zufrieden sind, haben wir einen weiteren bestellt. Das Gerät wird bereits seit geraumer Zeit auf amazon.de (!) geführt. Bei Lieferung des neu gekauften Gerätes gab es eine Überraschung: es verfügte nicht über einen Schuko-Stecker für den Stromanschluss. Da auch die Anleitung rein auf Englisch gehalten war, war dieser Asakuki wohl für den amerikanischen Markt bestimmt ...
Bei Elektrogeräten, die über die deutsche Amazon-Plattform angeboten werden, darf man als Endverbraucher davon ausgehen, dass diese Geräte ohne den Zukauf von Stecker-Adaptern verwendbar sind. Da dies nicht der Fall war, haben wir das Gerät zurückgegeben.
